Benefits of a Summer at DADC

Paid Training

Paid training period before campers arrive where you’ll develop skills you can take with you into any sector. Then, the opportunity to practice and hone those skills throughout the summer - skills like assertive and effective workplace communication, conflict resolution, collaboration, critical thinking and problem solving, public speaking, creativity, leadership and more. And all of this happens in a safe and supportive environment where we are supportive of your growth!

Professional Development

A focus on your own personal and professional development - let’s set goals and tackle them together. Each staff receives periodic 1:1 supervision during the course of the summer where you spend intentional time going over your strengths and growth points.

Making a Difference!

The special relationship that develops between a camper and a staff member is truly priceless and is an impact that can last a lifetime. At the end of a long day or a summer away from home and school, you’ll know you’ve made a difference. You’ll be able to take stock of how much you’ve meant to our girls and see the lives you’ve transformed through this important work. Long after your time at camp may come to an end, the impact you had will still be there.

Being in a Beautiful Place

You’ll get to call a beautiful outdoor setting home for the summer!

Internship Credit

If applicable, we are happy to collaborate with you to make your job at DADC suit internship requirements from your college or university. A win-win! Ask us about this when you apply.

A Shorter Camp Season

A shorter season means more time for all sorts of things! In 2024, many of our jobs are only 5-6 weeks of commitment during the summer. Meaning you can get the best of both worlds of working at camp and making a difference, while also having time for yourself and your interests, friends and family.

Danbee Arts & Dance Camp seeks to create a sense of belonging for all of our campers and staff, and we value fostering an inclusive camp community.

All employment decisions are based on qualifications and business needs, without regard to race, color, gender, religion, age, disability, or any other protected characteristics.

Application and Interview Process

  • Submit your application and you’ll hear back from our director.

  • If you are moved forward, you’ll participate in two interviews - at least one taking place over video.

  • After the interview process has begun, artists are asked to send in a portfolio and dancers are asked to submit a reel.

  • We require three professional references submitted to us that we can talk with - this could be a former boss, teacher, coach or youth advisor (not a family member).

  • Then, the final step is a background check.

  • If you have any questions about the process or about applying, you can reach out at info@danbeeartsdance.com.
